Vocabulary

Winter - The coldest season, when days are shortest.
Spring - The season when temperatures get warmer and days get longer.
Summer - The hottest season, when days are longest.
Fall - The season when temperatures get cooler and days get shorter.
Cold - Having a low temperature.
Cool - Having a temperature that is between warm and cold.
Warm - 
Having a temperature that is between cool and hot.
Hot - 
Having a high temperature.
Temperature - 
The measure of how hot or cold something is.
Seasons - 
A part of the year that lasts three months; winter, spring, summer, and fall.
Rain - 
Liquid water that falls from clouds to the earth.
​Snow - frozen water that falls from clouds in flakes.
Forecaster - A person who predicts what the weather will be in the future. 
Weather - 
A description of the temperature, clouds, rain, wind, and other conditions in the air.
